Welcome to Educadores Latinoamericanos

The mission of ELA is to promote and facilitate cultural and educational exchange between teachers from the United States and teachers from indigenous communities in rural Mexico. American teachers will bring innovative, effective instructional approaches and techniques to Mexico. Mexican teachers will share their unique cultural perspectives including the social, economic and educational challenges they face. By making these assets accessible to teachers across cultures, their students in both the United States and rural Mexico will be enriched.
